Research area
Georgia's research interests are in the dynamic analysis, optimization, and control of electric power systems integrating renewable energy and electrified transportation. Her current research focuses on leveraging the control capabilities of distributed energy sources to provide ancillary services to the transmission network, such as voltage support. She has also recently worked on “RailPower: Power and Energy for the future railways”, a project supported by the ETH Mobility Initiative together with the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and the Institute for Transport Planning and Systems (IVT).
